The Dream Mile is our flagship event for fundraising as well as increasing awareness about the plight of less fortunate children. Since its inauguration in 1999, it has grown from a small event attended by mostly Vibha supporters to a permanent fixture on the calendars of serious runners in these cities.

 

The Bay Area action center of Vibha invites you to partner with us for the 9^th annual Dream Mile  being organized on July 8^th, 2007, at  Shoreline Park in Mountain View, CA. The event is expected to attract more than 500 participants and over 100 volunteers. Organizations like Creative, E*Trade, New York Life, Zee TV have been among our partners in the past. The publicity campaign for this event reaches out to thousands of people in the Bay Area through Radio/TV ads, flyers/posters, print ads, online campaigns and of course, event day publicity with banners, booth, announcements, and souvenirs.

 

There are several ways in which your organization can partner with us:

• Monetary Sponsor: Donate money and help Vibha meet Walk-related expenses

• Material Donor: Provide food & refreshments for walkers, provide professional services like printing and mailing etc.

• Checkpoint sponsor: Set up and staff checkpoints along the Walk trail and provide refreshments to walkers.

• Media Partner: Help generate awareness about the event through print media, radio, television, internet and banner advertisements.

• Advertiser: Advertise your product through information booths and banners at the venue, or through an event souvenir
